Discover one of Weert’s most inviting wine bars: Wine Bar by Munten. Located in the heart of the town, our wine bar offers a welcoming setting where you can enjoy an extensive selection of wines and delicious bites every day from 12 noon.
With more than 30 wines available by the glass and a wine list featuring over 200 carefully selected wines, curated by our wine expert, there is something for every wine lover. Pair your favourite wine with one of our delicious bites or sharing platters.
Our wine bar is the perfect place for drinks with friends or a relaxed evening out. When the weather is pleasant, you can also enjoy your wine and bites in our leafy city garden, a peaceful oasis in the heart of Weert.
Wine & Food Pairing – The Perfect Combination
Every month, we host a wine and food pairing evening in our wine bar. Each event explores a different theme, from fascinating wine-producing countries and specific grape varieties to seasonal flavours.
In a relaxed atmosphere, you can learn more about wine, discover new flavours and enjoy the hospitality for which Hostellerie Munten is known.
Our sommelier carefully selects a range of exceptional wines, each perfectly paired with bites from our own kitchen. Expect refined small dishes designed to complement and balance the flavours of the wines.
The Munten Wine Cellar
Our wine cellar is located above ground and houses more than 200 wines, all stored under ideal conditions. Situated directly next to our inviting wine bar, it is at the heart of our wine experience.
Here, you will discover a carefully curated collection of wines from both the local region and renowned international wine regions. These include Limburg wines from Wijngoed Thorn, De Apostelhoeve and Wijnkasteel Genoels-Elderen, alongside distinctive wines from France, Italy, Argentina, Australia and California.
Every bottle is stored in a carefully controlled environment to preserve its quality and flavour.
Guests are welcome to select a wine to enjoy in the wine bar, with dinner in our restaurant or even in their hotel room through room service.
You can also take your favourite wine home at an attractive takeaway price – perfect as a gift or as a reminder of your visit.
